VIDEO: Pelosi Attacks Trump

(TheIndependentStar.com) – In what can only be termed a desperate move, the left is once again resorting to its old Russia-connected line of attack against Donald Trump, as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi now claims that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has “financial” leverage over the former US president.

In a recent conversation with MSNBC’s Jen Psaki (see the video below), US Rep. Pelosi (D-CA) speculated that Putin could somehow blackmail Trump.

She suggested that Putin might possess compromising financial information on Trump, influencing his actions.

This discussion occurred on Psaki’s program, where Pelosi wondered about the nature of Putin’s leverage over Trump.

She mentioned that in the context of Trump’s apparent deference to Putin and his actions concerning the US-led NATO alliance.

“What does he have on Donald Trump that he has to constantly be catering to Putin? Telling Putin go into these countries, NATO countries,” the former House speaker asked.

Psaki, the former press secretary of the Biden White House, responded with a question.

“What do you think? We’re all wondering this question, Speaker Pelosi, what do you think Putin has on him? I mean, it sure seems like something, as you’ve said a few times, given that he refuses to criticize him, that he seems to be a fanboy of him. Are you worried?” the host asked.

Pelosi’s response shifted focus initially, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that Trump never re-enters the White House in any capacity.

“He has brought disgrace to the White House, to these presidents,” the Democrat claimed.

She reflected on the significance of Presidents Day, sharing a historical anecdote about Abraham Lincoln and the ideals of unity and sacrifice he embodied, as symbolized by the words “one country, one destiny” found in the coat he wore on the night of his assassination.

“Now we have someone who had the honor of serving in the White House, didn’t consider it an honor, didn’t consider his oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution, and on this week speaking out the way he did about [Russian opposition leader Alexei] Navalny shows you that he is a person without values. He looks like he is going to be a person without dollars either, but the values are what concern us,” Pelosi said.

“I don’t know what he has on him, but I think it’s probably financial, I think it’s probably financial — either something financial or something on the come — something that he expects to get,” she concluded.
