Fani Willis Refuses?! (Video)

( – In a move exposing her fear of the truth, Democrat Georgia DA Fanni Willis, who has been among the leaders of the leftist judicial onslaught against former President Donald Trump, has refused to testify before a Republican-led Georgia state Senate panel that is investigating her activities.

During an event where she received support from numerous local African American religious leaders, Willis expressed skepticism about the committee’s legal authority to compel her testimony.

“First of all, I don’t think they even had the authority to subpoena me, but they need to learn the law,” she stated, cited by Fox 5 and The Hill.

Willis elaborated on her decision, indicating that she would not participate in any proceedings she deemed illegal, as she maintained her innocence.

“I’ve said it amongst these leaders; I’m sorry folks get pissed off that everybody gets treated equally,” she remarked.

Currently, Willis is overseeing a significant legal action against former President Trump, accusing him of attempting to manipulate the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

This case has brought her additional media attention due to revelations of her personal involvement with a colleague she appointed to the case.

Despite these complications, a March ruling permitted her to continue her prosecutorial duties after Nathan Wade, a special prosecutor, withdrew from the case.

The focus of the state Senate’s inquiry includes whether Willis and Wade improperly utilized taxpayer funds during their affair.

Testifying earlier this week, County Commission Chair Robb Pitts indicated that once the board approves the district attorney’s budget, it has minimal oversight over how funds are allocated.

He also refrained from openly criticizing Willis, as reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The chair of the investigating committee, State Sen. Bill Cowsert (Republican), asserted to Fox 5 that the panel possesses the requisite authority to mandate Willis’s testimony concerning her financial conduct. He warned that non-compliance could result in contempt charges.

“I sure hope it doesn’t get to that,” Cowsert commented.

With the local and state election day approaching on May 21, Willis is campaigning for re-election.

She faces a challenge in the Democratic primary from Christian Wise Smith, a former prosecutor in the Fulton County district attorney’s office, as per 11Alive.

“[There] ain’t no one above the law, either,” Willis declared at the end of her press conference.

“So, I don’t care how rich you are, how powerful you think you are, who your daddy is, what your political party might be, how much money you think you got and how evil your supporters are. I don’t care how many times they threaten me. I will gladly leave this place knowing that I did God’s work,” she asserted.
