Hillary: ‘Joe Biden Is Old’ (Video)

(TheIndependentStar.com) – In what might as well be described as a sneaky backstabbing move, Democrat heavyweight and sore loser Hillary Clinton has hit President Joe Biden where it hurts by declaring loud and clear that he is “old” right in the midst of his reelection campaign.

The former First Lady and Secretary of State made the declaration about the president’s age in an interview with the “Mornings with Zerlina” podcast on Super Tuesday, The New York Post reports.

She insisted it was imperative for Americans to reconcile with President Biden’s advanced age and support his candidacy nonetheless.

Clinton reflected on an observation made to her regarding Biden’s age.

“Somebody the other day said to me: ‘Well, but, you know, Joe Biden’s old,’” she recollected.

“I said, ‘You know what, Joe Biden is old. Let’s go ahead and accept the reality. Joe Biden is old,’” Clinton declared regarding the 81-year-old president.

Despite recognizing Biden’s age, Clinton emphasized the importance of continuing to endorse him against the presumed GOP presidential nominee, former President Donald Trump.

“So we have a contest between one candidate who’s old, but who’s done an effective job and doesn’t threaten our democracy. And we have another candidate who is old, barely makes sense when he talks, is dangerous, and threatens our democracy,” she said of Trump who is a year older than her.

“Pick between your two old ones and figure out how you’re going to save our democracy. Because no matter where you stand on the political spectrum, you want to maintain freedom, and the rule of law, and protection for people’s fundamental rights, or at least I used to think so,” she told Zerlina Maxwell, the host of the SiriusXM show.

The Post points out that Clinton carefully avoided discussing the President’s cognitive suitability for the role.

This omission follows a report by Special Counsel Robert Hur, which painted Biden as a compassionate, intentioned, yet forgetful elder regarding his management of classified documents.

Public sentiment reflects concern over Biden’s capability to serve effectively due to his age, with a significant portion of his previous supporters and the general electorate questioning his fitness for a subsequent term.

A New York Times/Siena College poll revealed a considerable majority of Biden’s 2020 voters doubt his efficacy due to age, a sentiment more pronounced than that regarding Trump among his supporters and the broader voting populace.
