(TheIndependentStar.com) – In what must now be considered a deliberate strategy – one that could end any future career in national politics after this November’s elections – Nikki Haley has once again attacked former President Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Haley, the former South Carolina governor, blames Trump for the recent failures Republicans faced in Congress and the ongoing issues within the RNC.

“The Republicans couldn’t get a border situation down. They couldn’t impeach [Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro] Mayorkas, they couldn’t pass a pro-Israel bill,” Haley stated on Fox News. “The RNC is imploding.”

She added, “All of that had Trump’s fingerprints on it. Everything he touches is chaos, and we continue to lose. How many more times do we have to lose before we realize that that is the problem?”

Haley also pointed to legal challenges Trump faces, mentioning a federal appeals court decision that Trump does not have immunity from charges related to the 2020 election. This comes as Trump confronts criminal cases in various states.

As the South Carolina primary on Feb. 24 approaches, Haley faces a tough battle, already lagging behind Trump in earlier nomination contests. Her campaign suffered a notable setback in Nevada, finishing behind “None of these candidates” in a state-run primary race Trump did not enter. “It has been a while since the political world was treated to such a humiliating, embarrassing and utterly overwhelming defeat than Nikki Haley suffered yesterday in Nevada,” said Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung.

With the Nevada caucuses looming, Trump is expected to extend his lead, further challenging Haley’s campaign efforts.

Despite these obstacles, Haley continues her campaign, emphasizing Trump’s track record of losses for the Republican Party. “With Donald Trump, Republicans have lost almost every competitive election,” Haley remarked. “We lost the Senate. We lost the House. We lost the White House.”

“We lost in 2018. We lost in 2020 and we lost in 2022,” she reiterated.
