( – Highlighting that an incompetent man who damages the country with his daily actions is not the right choice to run the White House, former President Donald Trump criticized Joe Biden during a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio, and stated that Biden poses a “great threat to our democracy.”

Trump repeatedly targeted Biden throughout his speech and focused especially on the escalating border crisis that has reached record levels under the current administration. The GOP frontrunner candidate for the upcoming elections also accused Biden of utilizing the Department of Justice to target him.

According to Fox News, Trump said, “Remember this, Joe Biden is a great threat to our democracy. He’s a tremendous threat to our democracy. His incompetence is the number one reason. Also, he uses the Justice Department, the FBI, to go after his political opponent, which happens to be me.”

“There’s never been a president so bad,” Trump continued. “There’s never been anything like it. He’s incompetent, he’s crooked.”

During his speech, Trump also highlighted the tragic murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, who was killed by an illegal immigrant from Venezuela suspected of being an “active member” of a gang.

“Laken Riley would be alive today if Biden had not unleashed his savage attack on America. And that’s what he’s done. But instead of apologizing to Laken’s family, Joe Biden apologized to the killer for calling him illegal. He shouldn’t have done that,” Trump said.

Trump’s classification of Biden as a “threat to democracy” follows that Biden also tagged Trump and his supporters with the same term on multiple occasions. In December, Trump said Biden’s use of “threat to Democracy” to describe him and his movement was a “hoax” pushed by the Left and the “fake news.”

“This is their new line. Here we go again — ‘Russia, Russia, Russia,’ ‘Mueller, Mueller, Mueller,’ ‘Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine.’ One hoax after another,” Trump stated, adding that Biden is the “real threat to democracy for two simple reasons: he’s corrupt and incompetent — grossly incompetent.”
