The beloved menu item, discontinued in 2020 despite its massive popularity, returns as American families struggle with today’s economy and seek affordable dining options.

The Snack Wrap, originally launched in 2006, quickly became one of McDonald’s most cherished menu items before being removed in 2016 and completely phased out by 2020.

The item features crispy chicken, fresh lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and zesty sauce wrapped in a soft flour tortilla.

Following years of customer complaints, social media campaigns, and even drive-thru inquiries asking for the discontinued item, McDonald’s finally acknowledged the overwhelming demand.

“Thanks to you, the Snack Wrap will be back,” McDonald’s announced, confirming that public pressure forced the company to make this decision.

The timing is significant as many American families struggle with declining grocery prices.

The Snack Wrap’s return offers a more affordable option at a time when every dollar counts for hardworking Americans facing unprecedented inflation.

Furthermore, the return comes after a VegasInsider.com analysis found that the Snack Wrap was the most searched-for discontinued McDonald’s menu item of 2025, with 48 of 50 states searching for it more than any other discontinued item.

McDonald’s U.S. President Joe Erlinger admitted, “We listen to our fans, and the Snack Wrap’s return is a testament to that.”

In addition, the returned item will be available in two flavors—spicy and Ranch—and can be ordered individually or as part of a combo meal with two Snack Wraps, medium fries, and a drink.

The revival of this classic menu item demonstrates that when enough regular Americans voice their opinions, they can overcome corporate agendas.

In an era when major companies push woke policies that ignore many traditional values and preferences, this victory for consumer choice stands as a potent reminder that the voice of the people still matters in America’s free market system.
