(TheIndependentStar.com) – Focused more on foreign conflicts than on addressing urgent issues in America, the Biden-Harris administration promised to send Ukraine another hefty military aid package.
See the tweet.
The announcement came during the U.N. General Assembly, where it was revealed that the U.S. will send Ukraine a military aid package worth about $375 million to support their ongoing battle against Russian aggression.
The package includes medium-range cluster bombs, rockets, artillery and armored vehicles. This aid is drawn directly from Pentagon stockpiles for rapid deployment to the front lines in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region.
Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy attended the U.N. General Assembly, hoping to garner more international support for Ukraine’s military efforts.

One of the package’s key highlights is the inclusion of air-to-ground bombs equipped with cluster munitions, HIMARS munitions, Javelin anti-armor systems and Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected vehicles.
This extensive arsenal aims to bolster Ukraine’s defense against Russian military actions significantly.
“The U.S. will send Ukraine an undisclosed number of medium-range cluster bombs and an array of rockets, artillery, and armored vehicles in a military aid package totaling about $375 million,” U.S. officials said.
Zelenskyy is seeking military aid and permission to use long-range weapons against Russia. In addition, he is scheduled to meet with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in Washington.
Moreover, nearly $6 billion in funding for Ukraine aid risks expiring at the end of the month unless Congress extends the Pentagon’s authority. This gives plenty of room for debate on whether such financial commitments are sustainable.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian and Russian forces continue to engage in combat in the Kharkiv border region and Russia’s Kursk region.
Zelenskyy recently visited a Pennsylvania ammunition factory to thank workers, and since February 2022, total U.S. aid to Ukraine has already surpassed a staggering $56.2 billion.
