Tucker Carlson Says General Milley Made Criminal Act Conspiring With America's Enemies

(TheIndependentStar.com) – Peril, a book written by Robert Costa and Bob Woodward, is already causing a stir days before its September 21 release date. Using information about the time between the end of Donald Trump’s presidency and the beginning of Joe Biden’s, the authors make serious claims about the state of our government during this period.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson released an opinion piece on September 14 addressing the book’s revelations about Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Mark Milley. What Carlson discovered led him to label the general as a traitor and criminal and denounce his actions as treasonous.

According to the book, on October 30, 2020, Milley agreed to warn China’s General Li Zuocheng if Trump was planning to take any military action against the country. He also promised not to attack the nation, all without the knowledge of the president.

Carlson also noted there have been reports of Milley allegedly calling Trump a threat to national security and the stability of the nation. He held meetings with CIA Director Gina Haspel, then-Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), NSA head Paul Nakasone, and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to discuss Trump while he was president. The general also allegedly told top military officials to report only to him and to check with him before following any orders from elsewhere.

Carlson stated a coup was occurring within the government as top officials were colluding against the sitting president, and the general was working to take away the power of the nation’s leader. He doesn’t accept the book completely at face value, but says if the stories are true, they are bad news for Americans. He called the actions authoritarian and said the Left is celebrating it by supporting Milley.
