Trump DROPS The Hammer – They Will Be FIRED!

(TheIndependentStar.com) – President-elect Donald Trump’s bold stance on federal employees has sent shockwaves through Washington’s bureaucratic corridors.

In a move that will shake up the government, Trump has vowed to fire federal employees who refuse to return to the office.

Trump’s promise comes as a direct challenge to the Biden administration’s cozy relationship with government unions.

The president-elect stated, “If people don’t come back to work, come back into the office, they’re going to be dismissed.”

This no-nonsense approach strikes at the heart of what many conservatives see as a growing problem in federal agencies: a lack of productivity and oversight.

“Somebody in the Biden administration gave a five-year waiver … so that for five years people don’t have to come back into the office. It was like a gift to a union. We’re going to obviously be in court to stop it,” Trump continued.

This deal was negotiated under Joe Biden’s watch and allows thousands of federal employees to work remotely, potentially compromising the effectiveness of government operations.

Additionally, Trump has tapped Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead a new Department of Government Efficiency.

The duo will be tasked with slashing a whopping $2 trillion from the federal budget, with an eye on work-from-home policies that many view as a drain on taxpayer resources.

“Requiring federal employees to come to the office five days a week would result in a wave of voluntary terminations that we welcome: If federal employees don’t want to show up, American taxpayers shouldn’t pay them for the Covid-era privilege of staying home,” Musk and Ramaswamy declared.

The scale of this potential shake-up is massive. With over 4 million federal employees and nearly half eligible for some form of remote work, Trump’s policy could affect more than a million workers.

This includes around 1.1 million eligible for part-time remote work and an additional 280,000 in fully remote positions.

Critics argue that this move could lead to a significant brain drain in government agencies.

However, supporters of Trump’s plan see it as a necessary step to trim the fat from an oversized bureaucracy.

They argue that those unwilling to show up to the office are likely the same employees who contribute the least to government efficiency.

Trump’s vision extends beyond just federal workforce reform. He has also committed to unleashing American energy and cutting red tape for businesses.

“Any business that invests $1 billion or more in the United States will be eligible for fully expedited permits and approvals, including environmental approvals from the federal government,” Trump promised.
