On Wednesday (July 5), officials confirmed that cocaine had been found in the White House, prompting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) to aim at the Biden administration.
Speaking to Tomi Lahren on Outkick, DeSantis joked that he and many others had long believed Biden was “blowing it on all fronts,” adding that he guessed the suspicion was also literal.
He then added that in Florida’s Governor’s Mansion with three kids — six, five, and three — the illicit substance wasn’t something you’d see.
Rather, he explained, the “extent of our adventures at the Governor’s mansions” was “ocassionally” getting “slime out of the carpet” and removing markers from the wall.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Secret Service confirmed that the suspicious substance found in the White House last weekend was cocaine.
Following the confirmation, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to downplay the finding, suggesting the area where the discovery was made is an area “West Wing Visitors come through” frequently.
The cocaine discovery didn’t occur while President Joe Biden and his family were in the White House. Instead, the discovery coincided with a trip they made to Camp David.
Former President Donald Trump also weighed in on the matter, taking to Truth Social to query where the security tapes were, like the ones he “open and happily gave to Deranged Jack Smith?” noting that those tapes would quickly show where the cocaine came from.
However, Trump suggested they wouldn’t release the tapes as the White House “already know the answer” and “don’t like it.”
