They’ve Gone On Strike at Christmas?!

(TheIndependentStar.com) – Exposing how far left-wing labor groups will go to push their agenda, holiday deliveries are in for major disruption as the Teamsters union has launched a nationwide strike against Amazon.

This radical action seeks to force the e-commerce giant to bend to union demands even if it means ruining Christmas for millions of hardworking Americans.

Representing a fraction of Amazon’s workforce, the Teamsters are trying to bully the company into negotiations by targeting key facilities across the country.

Starting today, strikes broke out at Amazon centers in New York City, Atlanta, San Francisco and other locations, with union bosses threatening to expand picket lines nationwide.

Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien declared, “If your package is delayed during the holidays, you can blame Amazon’s insatiable greed.”

Amazon has stood firm against these bullying tactics by calling out the Teamsters for their deceptive practices.

Company spokesperson Kelly Nantel exposed the union’s misleading claims:

“For more than a year now, the Teamsters have continued to intentionally mislead the public – claiming that they represent ‘thousands of Amazon employees and drivers.’ They don’t, and this is another attempt to push a false narrative.”

DIL7 Amazon delivery station driver Gabriel Irizarry expressed:

“Amazon is one of the biggest, richest corporations in the world. They talk a big game about taking care of their workers, but when it comes down to it, Amazon does not respect us and our right to negotiate for better working conditions and wages. We can’t even afford to pay our bills.”

Despite union propaganda, the facts tell a different story. Amazon has proactively increased pay and benefits for its workers, with the average base wage now at $22 per hour.

This 20% increase in starting wages for fulfillment and transportation employees showcases Amazon’s commitment to its workforce without the need for union interference.

The Teamsters’ actions are baffling given that they represent less than 1% of Amazon’s massive 1.5 million-strong workforce.

This minority attempts to dictate terms to a company that has created jobs and opportunities for hundreds of thousands of Americans, all while providing a vital service to consumers nationwide.

Amazon’s resilience so far is commendable. The company contested a 2022 union victory at a Staten Island warehouse and filed a lawsuit against the National Labor Relations Board, challenging the overreach of pro-union government regulators.
