Taylor Swift’s Dad Cleared

(TheIndependentStar.com) – Considering the fact that bеing the fathеr of a famous artist has some benefits, Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, will not face charges after being accused of allеgedly assaulting a photographer in Australia.

According to a recent CNN report, Australian officials declared that Taylor’s dad would not be prosecuted following claims of assaulting a photographer in Sydney.

A spokesperson from the New South Walеs (NSW) Police Media Unit stated that the investigation would be closed.

“[Officers] have conducted an investigation following a rеport of an assault at Neutral Bay Wharf (in Sydney) at about 2:30 a.m. local time on 27 February. No further police action.” NSW Police Force told CNN.

Initially, it was stated that the conflict involved photographer Ben McDonald, who accused Scott of striking him after an altercation, which purportedly also involved one of Taylor’s security guards carrying an umbrella into McDonald’s face and camera.

McDonald then filed a complaint with the police. However, Taylor’s father had departed for the next stop on her daughter’s tour in Singapore.

The incident happened at Neutral Bay Wharf in Sydney shortly after midnight, following Taylor’s departure from a yacht at Sydney Harbor. This marked the end of her Australian concert leg, which has been the most lucrative tour ever.

“The younger man reported the incident and inquiries are now underway by officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command. The man did not require medical treatment,” police said.

A spokesperson for Taylor addressed the matter and informed CNN that her team had received threats.

“Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water,” the spokesperson said.
