Sabotage at Polling Place; Investigation Underway

Sabotage sign

(TheIndependentStar.com) – In a shocking display of sabotage and voter intimidation, nails and screws were found scattered near a crucial ballot box in Washington, D.C., on Election Day.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) launched an urgent investigation after an alarming report.

Private security at Union Market found metal hardware spread across the road near a major ballot box location in the 1300 block of 5th Street NE.

This evident act of sabotage happened at around 2 p.m., just when citizens were trying to cast their votes.

While the MPD claimed to have had increased patrols and monitoring to ensure voter access, many now question the effectiveness of these measures.

Adding insult to injury, Kamala Harris, who won D.C.’s three electoral votes against Donald Trump, failed to address her supporters at a watch party held at Howard University.

Instead, her campaign co-chairman Cedric Richmond quickly dismissed attendees with a vague promise of a later appearance.

The MPD’s response to this clear attack has been timid at best. Their statement that they would “continue paying close attention to polling places and ballot drop off locations through the evening” rings hollow when such an alarming act of voter suppression took place under their noses.

As of now, no suspect is in custody and no suspect information has been released. For some, this lack of progress is deeply concerning and fuels speculation about potential cover-ups or incompetence within the department.
