NEW: Kamala Just Made More ENEMIES!

KAMALA HARRIS

(TheIndependentStar.com) – In bad news for Kamala Harris, the Democrat presidential candidate has managed to make more enemies as the White House News Photographers Association (WHNPA) has blasted her and her presidential campaign.

WHNPA has recently criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign for significantly limiting photographers’ access.

An August letter from the WHNPA, revealed by Axios, detailed these restrictions, describing a cut from four to just one independent news photographer aboard Air Force Two.

Jessica Koscielniak, the WHNPA’s president, sent this complaint on August 28 to senior Harris staff, The Daily Caller reports.

She proposed potential solutions like adding a supplementary plane for the media or reassigning seats through the White House Correspondents’ Association.

Veteran photographer Doug Mills expressed his frustrations to Axios, stating, “The current situation puts the still photographers at a distinct disadvantage on every trip.”

He emphasized the value of diverse visual perspectives at events, remarking, “It’s essential to us for people to understand the importance of having a full photographer pool. Every photographer sees each event differently.”

Koscielniak has noted a lack of response to her concerns.

It was only after Axios inquired that Harris’ office acknowledged ongoing discussions with the White House Correspondents’ Association to find solutions.

However, they found the suggestions in Koscielniak’s letter unfeasible due to resource constraints.

“It’s very disappointing. This is the smallest number of media to travel for a presidential race in my memory. When Vice President Harris became the presidential nominee, it should have been negotiated by the WHCA that the full 13-member travel pool be on her plane,” Koscielniak reacted.

Harris has also been criticized for her minimal unscripted interactions and infrequent press engagements compared to her rival in the presidential race, despite former President Donald Trump not maintaining a traveling press pool.

Axios highlights that her opponent has been more accessible to the media.

Harris’ first in-depth interview, conducted over a month into her campaign, included her running mate and did not address her shifts in policy positions directly.

When questioned about her policy changes by CNN’s Dana Bash, Harris responded, “I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is that my values have not changed.”
