Never-Trumper Accuses Trump of WHAT?!

Donald Trump

(TheIndependentStar.com) – In a desperate attempt for relevance, political commentator Charlie Sykes, the editor-in-chief of The Bulwark, a website known for its opposition to President Donald Trump, made outraging allegations about Trump’s potential plans for his second term.

Sykes, introduced as a “conservative commentator,” suggested on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Trump harbors authoritarian ambitions, echoing the tendencies of certain notorious global leaders.

“Donald Trump is laying out what Trump 2.0 would be,” Sykes stated, referencing Trump’s apparent admiration for Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and various authoritarian figures.

Sykes emphasized Trump’s respect for leaders like Chairman Mao, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, interpreting this as an inclination to transform the U.S. government into a tool for personal vengeance and punitive measures. Sykes specifically mentioned “detailed plans — for mass deportations and concentration camps” as part of Trump’s agenda.

Sykes expressed his view that Trump’s intentions are not to be taken lightly, likening him to “a clown with a flamethrower.” He highlighted Trump’s escalating rhetoric and overt declarations of ruling as an “authoritarian” if he were to win the 2024 presidential election.

This commentary was in response to Trump’s recent statements on Truth Social, made in conjunction with Veteran’s Day. Trump vowed to deal with various political groups, stating, “In honor of our great Veterans on Veteran’s [sic] Day, we pledge to you that we will root out the Communists, Marxists, Fascists, and Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our Country, lie, steal, and cheat on Elections, and will do anything possible, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America, and the American Dream.” He emphasized the internal threats to the U.S. as more severe than external ones, reaffirming his commitment to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

At a rally in New Hampshire, Trump reiterated these sentiments, provoking significant backlash from liberal media outlets. These outlets have drawn parallels between Trump and fascist dictators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, visibly fueling the flames of the extreme-left agenda.
