(TheIndependentStar.com) – Highlighting the alarming consequences of Joe Biden’s open borders, President-Elect Donald Trump has condemned the vicious New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans.
Trump firmly stated:
“When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true. The crime rate in our country is at a level that nobody has ever seen before.”
“Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department,” Trump added. “The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!”
The attack has been confirmed to be Islamic-inspired terrorism linked to illegal border crossings.
Reports indicate that the suspect drove a white pickup truck with Texas plates and crossed the border at Eagle Pass, Texas, just two days before the attack.
The horrific incident saw the suspect ram the truck into a crowd, killing at least 15 people and injuring over 30.
This gruesome incident further exposed the dire consequences of Biden’s soft immigration policies and the urgent need for stronger border protection.
Biden initially remained silent right after the attack. While he eventually offered a statement, social media users and conservative figures blasted his “tone deaf” and “heartless” reaction, which included a “Happy New Year” post with no mention of the attack.
The FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and national security prosecutors are involved in the investigation.
The attack has also raised concerns about the safety of upcoming events, including the Sugar Bowl college football game scheduled at nearby Caesars Superdome.
The Sugar Bowl Committee has yet to decide whether the game will proceed as planned, which has left fans and officials on edge.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and other conservative voices have called for the immediate release of the perpetrator’s identity.
They have emphasized that the public has the right to know who is responsible for the vicious crime.
The suspect has been confirmed dead after a police altercation. Authorities also found homemade explosive devices in the vehicle, suggesting a concerning level of planning.
