More has come out.

According to a report by Just the News, Special Counsel John Durham revealed in court filings that Hilary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign bombarded mainstream media outlets with “unverified derogatory information” about then-Presidential candidate Donald Trump, which led to the false Russian collusion narrative and subsequent investigation.

In September 2016, days after Michael Sussman and Christopher Steele approached the FBI with information spurring the Russia gate probe, Clinton’s campaign opposition research firm sent some of the same documents to journalists at the New York Times.

In an email to the New York Time reporters, a Fusion GPS executive greets the team, alluding to an in-person meeting that preceded the information-sharing, “Gents good to see you yesterday.” He continues, “Sounded like you might be interested in some of the attached Russia-related material.”

The Fusion GPS executive describes the attached documents as “internal, open source research drafts” and requests that “as agreed,” the journalists should “treat this as background/not for attribution,” saying that the information is “all easily replicated anyway.”

The executive offers more information, writing, “Can also send you a [name]/Toronto memo once i dig it out,” adding, “I’m skipping over [name] and [company name]. believe your guys have done that up… leave it to you to distribute internally, or not, as you see fit. don’t believe sunny isles/hollywood or panama or toronto have been touched by brands xy or z. amazingly, don’t believe anyone has done up the trump tower poker ring story either. pretty vivid color there.”

This message, obtained by Durham and now made public, is only one of the hundreds that operatives working for the Clinton campaign sent to journalists.
