This is truly amazing.
According to recent reports, Ivanka Trump, former President Donald Trump’s daughter, had donated 1 million meals to refugees in Ukraine.
The initiative coordinated in conjunction with the UPS Foundation and Trump’s partnering organizations, which include City Serve, City of Destiny, the Pentecostal European Fellowship, and several other local religious organizations, Trump has supplied more than 158,000 pounds of food to Warsaw, Poland.
In a report by Fox News, Trump commended the Ukrainian people for showing “inspiring courage and resilience during the invasion of their country by Russia,” adding that “as is often the case, pain and hardship are disproportionately borne by the most vulnerable.”
She added in her statements that she hoped the food provides “a small source of comfort and nourishment for Ukrainians who are suffering so greatly.”
It has also been reported that the meals will be delivered to Ukrainian refugees in Poland by local organizations. These meals will also be delivered to those in Ukraine.
According to the Fox News report, Trump contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to go toward the meals, which include oatmeal and goulash, in response to requests by aid workers in Ukraine.
Pastor Paula White-Cain revealed to Fox News that she had been brainstorming about how to implement measures that had helped her tackle food scarcity in the U.S. with aid for war-torn Ukraine when she “got a call from Ivanka Trump.”
White-Cain mentioned how she and Trump “worked closely in the White House to put together a national hunger relief program called Farmers for Families,” adding that when she shared her idea with Trump, “she went into action as only Ivanka can.”
