Illegals Are Now Crossing HERE?!

(TheIndependentStar.com) – In a brazen act of illegal immigration, three Mexican nationals were arrested after crossing the St. Clair River from Canada into Michigan using a raft. This alarming incident highlights the ongoing crisis at our borders and the urgent need for stricter immigration enforcement.

On Monday, September 23, the Port Huron Police Department received reports from the United States Coast Guard about three Hispanic men crossing the St. Clair River from Canada into the United States using a raft. The suspects were spotted near the mouth of the Black River, carrying duffel bags and running northbound on Michigan Street towards Grand River Avenue.

Local law enforcement quickly responded to the scene, detaining the three individuals and transferring them to U.S. Border Patrol custody. All three men were identified as Mexican citizens, raising serious questions about the effectiveness of both Canadian and American border security measures.

This incident is not an isolated case. On the same day, another man attempted to enter the U.S. illegally by swimming across the Detroit River from Canada. He was rescued by a mailboat and claimed he was trying to return to the United States. These events underscore the growing threat of illegal immigration from our northern neighbor, a route often overlooked in the national debate on border security.

“We urge residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the Port Huron Police Department immediately,” the police service stated in a news release.

The Port Huron Police Department’s call for vigilance highlights the crucial role that American citizens play in protecting our communities from the dangers of illegal immigration. It’s a stark reminder that every patriot must be on guard against those who would circumvent our laws and potentially threaten our national security.

This incident follows a similar event in June, where U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Marysville Border Patrol Station arrested four individuals involved in a cross-border smuggling operation on the St. Clair River. The sophistication of these operations, involving vessels and waiting vehicles, suggests an organized effort to exploit vulnerabilities in our northern border.

“Our commitment to our community’s safety was on full display here. Using all our assets we were able to end a smuggling operation,” said Chief Patrol Agent John R. Morris of the Detroit Border Patrol Sector.

While it’s commendable that law enforcement successfully apprehended these illegal entrants, the incident raises alarming questions about the state of our border security. How many others have successfully crossed undetected? What potential threats to national security and public safety are we facing due to these illegal crossings?

The Biden administration’s lax border policies and focus on the southern border have clearly emboldened illegal immigrants to exploit our northern border as well. This dangerous oversight threatens the safety and sovereignty of American communities across the northern states.

It’s time for a comprehensive approach to border security that addresses both our southern and northern borders. We need stricter enforcement, increased resources for border patrol agents, and a clear message that illegal entry into the United States will not be tolerated, regardless of the point of origin.

American citizens deserve a government that prioritizes their safety and upholds the rule of law. The alarming increase in illegal crossings from Canada demands immediate action from our leaders. It’s time to secure all our borders and put America first.
