Dr. Anthony Fauci shocked many Americans with his recent comments during an interview on CNN. Fauci claimed that the the new coronavirus variant that was spotted in South Africa may very well be inside the United States.
Fauci stated that anything could be possible with this new coronavirus variant. His remarks caused concerns all over the country with many Americans fearing that another wave of cases may effect the country. He continued his statement by saying that “anything is possible” when dealing with the coronavirus and that Americans should continue to wear face masks and get vaccinated as soon as they can to combat the spread of the virus.
Fauci added that since people are beginning to travel around the world again that the virus could start to spread very easily if people are not careful. Fauci stated that public health should be everyones main concern as traveling is beginning to start back up again. He added that the new variants that are being spotted around the world are a cause for “concern.”
Fauci’s statements have made many individuals raise concern for the state of the pandemic and fear for a new surge in cases. Fauci has recommended that all Americans get booster shots to combat the virus and keep everyone in good health.
