National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci announced that Americans should be prepared for anything due to the new coronavirus variant beginning to spread to other countries. He added on to his statement that the new variant could very well be within the United States already.
Dr. Fauci announced that Americans should be prepared to do anything to stop the spread of the new coronavirus variant if it comes down to it. He stated that another lockdown may be put into effect if experts determine that this variant is too dangerous for everything to be open. He stated that it is too early to tell what the strength of this variant actually is and that Americans should prepare for the worst case scenario. Fauci added on stating that Americans should begin to prepare for anything that may happen in the near future.
Fauci continued with his statement saying that nothing is out of the realm of possibility with this new coronavirus variant. He added that Americans need to prioritize public health to prevent any spread of the coronavirus or any of it’s variants. He added that he and his team are paying very close attention to this new variant and will have a more legitimate plan in the future.
Fauci’s statements have had many mixed reactions with the American public. Many Americans are starting to be concerned with the state of the pandemic and what will be necessary to prevent any spread.
