(TheIndependentStar.com) – For months Democrats have been working to push President Joe Biden’s infrastructure deal through Congress. They’ve faced heavy Republican opposition, but a group of bipartisan Senators now seem to have reached a deal.
On July 28, 2021, the Senators announced they had agreed on an infrastructure proposal and were ready to begin debating it. The deal addresses major sticking points between the Left and conservatives.
Former President Donald Trump released a statement through the Save America PAC to express his unhappiness with the deal. He said we have a “Super RINO” in Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) as a leader in these talks, which is not acceptable.

The former president considers the measure’s passing a win for President Joe Biden that Democrats will use in the 2022 midterms against the GOP. He called the plan a bad deal for citizens and said reaching an agreement “makes the Republicans look weak, foolish, and dumb.”
He warned Republicans in the Senate to not cave in and to stand up against this plan. He said voters will not be in favor of it. The statement further suggested that those GOP members who back this deal will face challenges in the 2022 primaries from candidates representing patriots.
