DISGUSTING: Cherished Statue Vandalized

(TheIndependentStar.com) – In an act of disgusting leftist vandalism, a group of criminals have once again desecrated an iconic American monument, this time the statue of Abraham Lincoln in Chicago’s Lincoln Park.

See the tweet below.

The brazen act occurred on Indigenous Peoples Day and has sparked outrage among conservatives and reignited debates over the preservation of the nation’s history.

The incident took place overnight from Sunday into Monday, with the perpetrators defacing the statue using red spray paint.

Messages such as “Lincoln Was An Executioner” and “May All Empires Fall From Turtle Island To Palestine” were scrawled across the monument, revealing the anti-American sentiment behind the act.

This type of vandalism is not isolated but part of a disturbing trend of attacks on historical monuments across the country.

In recent years, leftist mobs have targeted statues of American heroes, from Christopher Columbus to Confederate generals, in their misguided attempt to rewrite history and erase national identity.

What is particularly alarming is the growing assault on the legacy of Abraham Lincoln, one of America’s greatest presidents.

Despite his pivotal role in preserving the Union and ending slavery, Lincoln has become a target for the woke mob seeking to vilify all aspects of American history.

“Everything that neighborhood has seen in the past century is reflected off that bust,” New York-based photographer and MacArthur genius Camilo Vergara said.

Even more concerning is the complicity of local governments in this attack on our history.

Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s administration has flagged five statues of Abraham Lincoln and one of Ulysses S. Grant as “problematic,” paving the way for their potential removal.

The city’s review of these monuments, part of a broader examination following the removal of Christopher Columbus statues, is nothing short of a witch hunt against America’s heroes.

By seeking public input on whether to remove these statues or add “contextual information,” Chicago’s leadership is opening the door to further erasure of history.

“I’m 43, and I’ve known that statue since I was born. Everyone here knows that statue. When I was a kid, when the school bus passed the Lincoln, I knew I was almost home,” a resident stated.

The vandalism of the Lincoln statue in Chicago is not just an attack on a piece of art but an attack on the very fabric of America.
