Country Music Star Arrested

(TheIndependentStar.com) – Although this music style and its singers are highly popular in the country, some of its singers are not making America proud because Country singer Morgan Wallen was arrested and charged after an alleged incident at a rooftop bar.

Reports claim that the 30-year-old “Wasted on You” singer was arrested following an alleged chair-throwing episode at Chiefs Bar around 10:45 p.m. in Nashville, Tennessee.

Metropolitan Nashville Police Department stated that Wallen threw a chair from the sixth floor, landing just three feet away, where he narrowly missed officers below.

While he was arrested and kept in custody at approximately 12:30 a.m. the next day, Wallen faces charges of three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct.

His attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed the arrest, stating, “He is cooperating fully with authorities.”

Moreover, witnesses reported that Wallen appeared to laugh after the incident. A photo on Instagram seemed to capture him in the back of a police car outside the bar, shouting.

The Davidson County Criminal Court has scheduled Wallen’s next court appearance for May 3, which matches with his upcoming performances in Nashville.

Fellow country artist Eric Church owns Chiefs Bar, where the incident happened, and he recently celebrated its grand opening.

Yet, this is not Wallеn’s first run-in with the law in Nashville. In May 2020, he was arrеsted for intoxication and disorderly conduct at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk bar.

Following that arrеst, Wallen apologized via social media, expressing regret for his actions and gratitude to law enforcement.

In February 2021, the singer faced backlash after a video еmerged showing him using a racial slur. He apologizеd publicly and said he was embarrassed for his behavior.
