This is outrageous!

Don Lemon had some choice remarks about Fox News which he shared on Monday (December 13th). During the panel, which included appearances from other CNN personalities, Lemon and his fellow panelists took turns bashing Fox News.

After it was revealed that Fox News hosts had texted former White House Secretary of Staff, Mark Meadows, on January 6th regarding actions the president should take to stop the insurrection, Lemon flew into a rage. He questioned why White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was still allowing correspondents from Fox News to ask her questions during her press briefing. He queried why Psaki would continue to call in Fox since the network promoted “lies” that helped incite an insurrection. He concluded his questioning by asking why should Fox be allowed to “take part in a legitimate press briefing, and legitimate journalism?”

To substantiate his point that Fox was a “propaganda network,” Lemon played a clip of Rep. Liz Cheney. In the clip, Cheney states “multiple Fox News hosts” knew the president should have acted immediately.

The clip continues with Cheney revealing that CNN hosts Brian Kilmeade, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham, in addition to Donald Trump Jr., had urged Meadows to tell the former president to mitigate the situation.

Lemon continued his assault on Trump, emphasizing that the former president knew that the protest would not be peaceful. He also added that the protestors were not patriots nor Antifa or Black Lives Matter. Instead, they were insurrectionists out to do Trump’s bidding.

Adding his views on the matter, Stelter interjected, saying that the “Fox stars” had set the stage for the attempt and that the Murdochs were to blame. He substantiated his remarks by mentioning the recent resignation of Chris Wallace, adding that the notion people took the network seriously or view the content as reality-based was foolish after the recent publication of text messages.
