Who would have expected this!

Some of you may have already heard that celebrity doctor, Dr. Mehmet Oz, better known simply as “Dr. Oz” recently came out and announced that he is planning to run for the Pennsylvania Senate as a member of the Republican Party.

Now, according to Newsmax, it appears as though Dr. Oz has already come out of the gates swinging and is calling out Dr. Anthony Fauci! Dr. Fauci recently made headlines after he sparked controversy by saying “I represent science” and now Dr. Oz has a few words for Fauci.

Dr. Fauci’s “I represent science” indicated to many Americans that he believes people shouldn’t question him when it comes to the coronavirus and listen solely to him. Many Republicans are unhappy with Fauci and believe his remarks were inappropriate.

Dr. Oz warned Fauci that when you mix medicine with politics, Americans get denied proper healthcare. He then slammed Fauci and referred to him as the J. Edgar Hoover of public health. “We have a J. Edgar Hoover of public health right now, and that’s not what we want,” Dr. Oz boldly stated.

He then took a swipe at Fauci and said that the American people only want suggestions and advice from scientists and they weren’t elected like lawmakers to make decisions for the people like Fauci thinks he can.

“We just want to have people coaching us, giving us advice if they’re scientists, and let the people who are the decision-makers, who have been elected by the people of this country, to make decisions accordingly,” Oz stated.

“That process has been thwarted a little bit. It’s been off-kilter, not balanced,” he further noted.
