Is it time for Pelosi to go?
In a recent interview with Fox’s Sean Hannity, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy unveiled a new ad criticizing Democrats for their “one-party rule” and even pushed the envelope by calling on voters to “fire” Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
According to the Washington Examiner, McCarthy’s ad asked what have Democrats given America in the one year they have had control?
He then noted a number of issues which have happened since President Biden came into office and the Democrats took control of Congress. “”Shortages, inflation, crime, chaos, division, and failure. One party, one year,” McCarthy noted.
He then called on Americans to stop Joe Biden and his poor agenda. “Fire Nancy Pelosi, and take our country back. Go to FirePelosi.com to join our fight,” the ad said.
McCarthy then slammed Biden and said that the country would be better if he was literally sleeping. “Had Joe Biden done nothing in office – literally gone to sleep – our country would be stronger,” McCarthy explained.
One important thing that has surprised many Conservatives is that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hasn’t come out and officially admitted to the media about whether or not she is going to pursue re-election for House Speaker. As of right now there are nearly 20 Democrats expected to leave the House of Representatives to either pursue other forms of political office or retire completely by 2023.
This could spell bad news for the House Democrats who are fighting tooth and nail to keep their party moderate as more progressive ideologies are beginning to take root within the party.
