(TheIndependentStar.com) – BREAKING NOW: A plane crash in Utah has taken the lives of a North Dakota Senator, his wife, and two children.
According to KFGO.com:
“A plane crash outside the eastern Utah tourist town of Moab killed all four people on board Sunday night, authorities said. North Dakota Senate Majority Leader David Hogue told colleagues via email on Monday morning the victims were Senator Doug Larsen, his wife Amy, and their two young children.
“The plane crashed shortly after taking off from Canyonlands Airfield about 15 miles north of Moab, according to a Grand County Sheriff’s Department statement posted on Facebook. Hogue’s email said the Larsens were visiting family in Arizona and returning home. They had stopped to refuel in Utah.”
Larsen was self-employed and a 28-year veteran of the North Dakota National Guard.
He is survived by a step-child who was not onboard the aircraft.
