On Thursday (June 15), President Biden rebuked a reporter who asked why an FBI document about a criminal bribery scheme between him and a foreign national referred to him as a “Big Guy.”

New York Post reporter Steven Nelson questioned why the “Ukraine FBI informant file” referred to Biden as the ” Big Guy” and why the term had been repeatedly applied.

Biden hit back, asking why Nelson was asking “such a dumb question?” before staff escorted the press out of the room.

Form FD-1023, dated June 30, 2020, records an FBI interview with a “highly credible” confidential source who described a series of meetings and conversations he had with senior Burisma management over several years beginning in 2015.

Although the media has not seen the form, several sources described its content.

The White House has repeatedly dismissed the allegations as false.

FBI agents use the FD-1023 form to file unconfirmed reports from confidential human sources.

The form documents information provided to an FBI agent, but recording the information does not validate it against other information known to the FBI.

The document mentions the “Big Guy” repeatedly, apparently a reference to Biden.

A business executive told a confidential source that he “didn’t pay the Big Guy directly.”

The House Oversight Committee has Subpoenaed the FBI for the FD-1023.

After a back-and-forth between the Committee and the agency, and a threat that FBI director Christopher Wray would face contempt of Congress, the FBI agreed to let all committee members view the document in a secure environment on Capitol Hill.

The Committee is currently investigating the business dealings of the Biden family.
